CONNECTION TO OWN ART
A. SLIDE LAYOUT
SLIDE 1 : OVERVIEW
-
Overview slide is not necessary
-
But it allows for a nice summarise of your points for the marker

PP SAMPLES
INTRODUCTION
Link to Senior's Samples
Note that
-
These are references, not at hard & fast way that you should make your PP
-
So, take some notes & pointers from their samples that you feel is done well and adapt/stylise it into your own way
-
Take notes on things such as : Language, Word Choices, Formatting & Layout

Annotated Sample of My PP
Below are slides on one artwork from my submission. I will be including some helpful tips on the side that you can choose to adopt in your PP
Note that
-
Looking back, I personally feel my PP is kinda ugly AHAHA and actually a bit too wordy
-
The work you see here is not in my final exhibition, I didn't use it coz it didn't fit it with my theme anymore
-
But I used it for PP because it has a lot of experimentation
-
Just know that your works in PP doesn't have to actually be in your Exhibition submission coz they are marked by diff. ppl
-
-
I even know some seniors who made works just for PP and not use it in their Exhibition submission
-
I don't recommend doing this coz it's time consuming, this is just you die die have to)
-
-

For my PP,
-
I chose to have 3 Artworks only (Photography, Ceramics & Print)
-
7-8 slides per work
-
25 Pages in Total
A. RESEARCH & CONCEPTUALISATION

TIP : LINK TO IMAGES
-
Instead of having a seperate bibliography
-
Include the link of the image directly below
-
Include "Image not cited are taken by student" below
B. EXPLORATION & CRITICAL INVESTIGATION

TIP : SEGREGATE THE ART REFERENCE
-
Have the art/artist reference section stand out
-
Makes it easy for the marker to identify & locate in ur PP when they marking
C. EXAMINE & EXPLORATION

ARTIST REFERENCE
-
Start with a general description of the work
-
Then, Include which aspects of the artist's work is in relation to your work

TIP : INC. DETAILED STUDY SKETCHES
-
Sketches help to break up the text
-
It can show your attention to detail
-
It also looks good visually
D. EXPERIMENTATION

TIP : INC. REFLECTION
-
Reflection is an integral part of PP
-
Should always be included at most step
-
State how you felt about your experimentation
-
eg. a success, because it achieves ... or didn't achieve, thus (what you will try differently)
-

TIP : VISUAL SYMBOLS
-
Include symbols like crosses or ticks
-
Shows for example : Trial 1 failed and Trial 2 worked
-
Easy to identify for your marker
E. EXECUTION

TIP : SMALL SKETCHES
-
Include small sketches like these to help break up the text
-
It also allows to marker to visualise your points

FINAL WORK IMAGE
-
This is optional
-
But, I feel that it really helps your marker understand your final outcome more
